Tarmo has worked in both the metals and mining industry and across investment and has played a leading role in over $30bn of M&A transactions across 5 continents.

He has 20 years of experience working in a variety of roles in the industry, including having led corporate development globally for China Molybdenum Company (“CMOC”).

Prior to his role at CMOC, he was Head of Corporate Finance Base Metals at Anglo American plc, a leading diversified mining company, where he led numerous investment evaluation, capital planning and M&A projects.

He started his career at UBS investment bank in the United Kingdom and Canada.

Tarmo holds a degree in International Economics & Management from Universita Bocconi, Italy.
